The DC IO Conference is an annual conference that began in 2014 that draws together IO economists from local universities (Maryland, Georgetown, GWU, Virginia and Johns Hopkins), government agencies (DoJ, FTC, Federal Reserve, CFPB) and the private sector.  It is an `IO Day/IO Fest' for our area, with presentations of early stage empirical and theory topics.  Dan Vincent, Nate Miller, Emek Basker and I have been co-organizers and the conference has been supported for several years by the Maryland Center for Economic Policy and Compass Lexecon.
